How to decorate the walls in a bedroom

Do you want to wake up in a plain white closet or box ? If not then the essential question that comes in the mind is , how to decorate the walls  in a bedroom ?

Isn't that an insane question ?

Does that seem too irrelevant?

Many a times customers feel that interior designers will talk about the modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceiling, few furniture and that is it.

However it's just a misnomer that interior does not limited to this alone.

There are several aspects related to aesthetics, the styling the vibes which generates out of an ambience that gets created by us.

Walls are an essential element to all this since the way lights fall on the walls has huge impact on overall energy level the room has.

Shades of dark and light color on the walls are very important and need to be well aligned to ensure right balance is made for energy and light.

Walls having windows on it may have any shade to it depending on how customer feels, however the walls facing the windows side must always have reflective color on them. This will keep the room lighted well enough. Traditional carpets and matching abstract wall art makes it rich.

Some combination need to be struck of bigger wall paintings and not so big ones to make it look more artistic.

Some client have preferred to have a book shelf unit on one of the walls in the rooms. Now that is pretty obvious  if you have a progressive mindset and keep reading throughout the night. but even on few occasions we hvae had customers seeking this unit just to keep the aesthetics mean the same. Now that might not seem realistic but thats how it has been at times.

Patterned wallpaper is a yet another idea that has excited few mind, though not very obvious choice who prefer rather neat clean room.

How about putting hangings of some cute teddy on walls corners

May sound a bit childish and puerile, but yeah it adds a beauty to those corners lying in a derelict delinquence especially the top corners.

Too much of wooden finish on walls does not add to energy level of room overall, and i prefer to avoid them.

Neutral color wallpapers may seem really light on the overall feel a bedroom gives, and i prefer putting them in bedroom of older age people , both mentally and age wise, of course we have been in discussion like age is just a number, but if mental mindset is a parameter, people do prefer to have a lighter bedroom walls indeed. It keeps you really calm and happy.

You can simply decorate the walls in a bedroom by a patterned rug, put some painting like murals, or even smarter way would be to put in some combination of family photographs as paintings creating a gallery wall, if rooms are big even think of putting some divider designer ones, may be ideate some vertical panels like patterened lights . There is no dearth of ideas, when it comes to decorating the walls of a bedroom, it is only important to keep in mind that it should not be overdone.

Every aspect will vary just the way target audience and intended use varies, so keep that in mind and design that suits the customer the most.

Furnishings Selection for interiors

Designing does not finish without proper finishing of the interiors of any house.  Finishing means the final touch of improvisation on top of due diligence and months of hard work right from Project initiation, to planning then execution stages. This is where home furnishing plays a pivotal role. Unless this last touch hits bulls eye the aesthetics do not come out at its beautiful best.  We have been doing interiors for years but when it comes to the selection of furnishings, sense of complacency starts hitting our delivery team.  It has been pretty evident in all my projects that people both from interior designs to client stakeholders start getting tired as well as in a state of feel good that misses starts seeping in the final touch.  But we believe it's not over unless the handover stage is complete. We have spent hours and at times days in finishing the final selection of furnishings by assessing the contour and contrast aspect in the look and feel.  Simple...

How to decorate a bedroom with no money

How to decorate a bedroom with no money  Tricky it may sound , but this can still be achieved with perfect ease and comfort.  I have been at many shops and get super excited purchasing things really cheap which weighs far better in terms of appeal to me when compared to other costly or rather not so pocket friendly alternatives It can come from upbringing or may be it comes from the thought of understanding the value of money !   So how do we decorate the bedroom with limited money. Simple cut down on input cost . When we talk of cutting the input cost it means both in terms of material as well as operational cost. If you  go by the budgeting strategies we adopt while delivery our interior design delivery for all clients, the aspect that plays paramount importance is of course the budget. It differentiates the materials that we wanna move ahead with and this gets defined pretty much during the planning phase itself. Most of us agree that labor cost has shot so...
